About the artist
Known as Treyway.
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Trevarcius Magnus Wayllenburger picked up a machine five years ago and hasn't stopped chasing detail since. Today his studio calls Indianapolis, Indiana home — a Midwest chapter of the same West Coast obsession.
His work is built around custom artwork — nothing is ever off a wall. Each piece is designed for the person wearing it, from the concept down to the shading pass. His specialties are color-infused black & grey, black & grey realism, and hyper-realism — the depth of a traditional black & grey piece, softened with whispers of color where it matters most.
Beyond his signature style, Treyway is a well-rounded artist who takes on portrait work, his signature realism roses, large custom pieces and full sleeves, small tattoos with detail and precision, and creative collaborations with clients who bring an idea and want it built out into something real.
If you can imagine it, chances are Treyway can tattoo it. Realism, illustrative, cover-ups, memorial pieces, floral compositions, script — the studio is set up to bring nearly any tattoo vision to life, without compromising the craft.
